Cactus Club Cafe - decent food all around the city

Posted by Bernhard Finkbeiner • Wednesday, November 4. 2009 • Category: Dine Out
If you are looking for a comfy place which is not too expensive but offers decent west coast / North American food, you should check out a Cactus Club Cafe. There are several restaurants in BC and quite a few in Greater Vancouver.

Cactus Club Cafe, Coquitlam
Chef Rob Feenie created most of the dishes and recipes and they are quite tasty. It's not too pricy. Everything between $10 and $30 is possible. Steak, Salads, Burgers (try the Salmon Sandwich with yam fries, it's awesome), fish, Asian food and fajitas.

The staff is friendly. Expect to wait through busy times (weekends on an evening). Tip: Try to get a table in the bar / lounge. There is no waiting list but you can order everything from the menu. It might be not as comfy as the big dining tables, but if you are only 2-4 persons, the bar / lounge is a pretty good alternative.

All in all it is quite decent restaurant which is not too expensive but still offers excellent food in a comfy atmosphere to spend a couple of hours there with your friends.
